Taurus Full Moon, Scorpio Season + Mercury Retrograde, Oh My!

Buckle up for the full moon happening on Monday, October 26th at 12:11am ET at 2 degrees and 45 minutes in the sign of Taurus โ๏ธ.
In this post, I'm sharing not only about the full moon ๐, but also Scorpio โ๏ธ season, the upcoming Mercury โฟ retrograde and Psychic ๐ฎ Protection course I plan to offer, so be sure to read all the way through to know how to navigate all the things.
๐คช Full moons make people cray cray and this one is SUPER-intense.
Here's what you need to know about the full moon:
The full moon happens when the Sun opposes the Moon, in this case the Sun will be in intense, psychological, and truth-seeking Scorpio and the Moon will be in peaceful, pleasure-seeking and loving Taurus.
What makes this full moon sooo intense is the T square from Pluto, squaring both the Sun and the Moon. Adding to the mix, Venus, the ruler or dispositor of the full moon (Venus rules the sign of Taurus), is opposing the full moon.
Oof, right?!
Expect some uncomfortable truths, secrets, manipulation and power dynamics to come to light, especially in the area of life (house) Taurus occupies in your chart.

Now, let's talk about Scorpio โ๏ธ season:
Scorpio season happens when the Sun moves through the sign of Scorpio. This year it starts on Friday, October 23rd and continues until the Sun moves into Sagittarius on Sunday, November 22nd.

๐ It's in the fall in the northern hemisphere, my fave season.
๐ It's got Halloween, my fave holiday (seriously you should see the ridiculous number of decorations in my house).
โจ My moon and Uranus (my chart ruler) are in Scorpio and my midheaven is in Scorpio which governs my career, legacy and public reputation.

About Mercury โฟ retrograde:
Remember the last time Mercury went retrograde in the sign of Cancer?! If you thought that was rough, hold onto your hat, as Mercury moves retrograde in the sign of Scorpio from October 24th - November 13th (the same day Venus FINALLY goes direct).
Cancer and Scorpio are both water signs. Logical and practical Mercury doesn't feel comfy in intuitive and emotional water signs.
Mercury is the planet of communication and we all know communication goes awry when it moves backwards.
Add to that the fact that it's gonna feel like you're tryna communicate under water.
You remember playing that game as a kid, where you go under water and yell something and some other kid tries to hear what you're saying? If you didn't play it, I bet you can imagine just how frustrating and fruitless such an endeavor can be.
Finally, add in the psychological intensity, extreme perspectives, manipulation and power struggles Scorpio is sure to bring during this retrograde.
๐ Expect emotionally charged conversations and miscommunications.
๐ Don't sign contracts or make verbal agreements, if you can avoid it.
๐ Don't have important conversations with loved ones, if it can wait.
๐ฅธ Mercury in Scorpio can be manipulative, secretive and intense.
โค๏ธ๐ฅ It can also bring truth, depth and intimacy.
The opportunity with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio is to go within and reflect on past communications and get clear about your psychological motivations. Get really honest about what's behind the words you say.
Are you trying to connect vulnerably and share your truth?
Or are you using your words to manipulate others, so you can get your needs met?
Are you holding back parts of yourself because you fear true intimacy in your relationships?
Or are you letting your loved ones see the messy parts of you that you're afraid are unloveable and imperfect?
What's really behind your conversations and communications (written communications too)?
- Start to notice what you're saying to others
- Get curious about why you're saying what you're saying (what's the real motivation behind the words you use?)
- Notice if your words are infused with love or something other than love
- Pay attention to which words come from your heart and which words you're using to protect your heart
- Observe without judging yourself; just notice what's going on
- If you don't like what you find, heal and transform it
Awareness is most often the first step in any lasting change.
