Heal Shame Under the Aries New Moon

The new moon is always a time to plant seeds and set intentions for your life.

❀️‍πŸ”₯ This new moon in Aries β™ˆοΈŽ, happening tomorrow April 17th, is inviting you to set the intention to be brave and take action to heal your shame.

πŸ€“ Here's why: The new moon is happening in an exact conjunction with Chiron ⚷, aka the wounded healer.

The new moon is making NO other major planetary aspects, giving Chiron ⚷ center stage to do its thing.

πŸͺ PLUS there's a massive stellium of planets hanging out in fiery Aries β™ˆοΈŽ including the Sun β˜‰ + Moon ☾, of course (because the sun and moon are always in the same sign at the same degree during a new moon), but also Mercury ☿, Neptune ♆, Mars β™‚ and Saturn β™„.

πŸ”₯ That's A LOT of fi-ya, my friend.

❀️‍πŸ”₯ Aries is brave, driven and action oriented.

Chiron ⚷ is the wounded healer. Where ever you find Chiron, you find shame.

😑 Aries is also angry, aggressive and impulsive.

I wanna lovingly invite you to work with this potent energy to heal your shame, forgive yourself/others and start fresh.

After all, Aries comes at the beginning of the zodiac and the new moon is always a fresh start.

πŸ“ Grab your handy, dandy journal, your favorite writing implement, a tasty beverage and a comfy spot to ponder the following questions:

  1. Have you acted from anger and hurt yourself or someone you love? If yes, list all the ways, that come to mind.
  2. Have you been aggressive with your words towards yourself or others and wished you could take them back? If yes, list all the ways, that come to mind.
  3. Have you acted impulsively without giving much thought to the impact your actions would have on your or other people? If yes, list all the ways, that come to mind.
  4. Have you held your anger back and internalized it rather than expressed it (in a healthy + productive way), because you're ashamed of feeling so out of control? If yes, list all the ways, that come to mind.
  5. Have you held yourself back from doing something you know your soul wants to do, because you didn't feel brave or courageous enough? If yes, list all the ways, that come to mind.

⏰ This is the perfect time to heal that shame.

Wanna make it especially personal to you?

Look at your chart to see which house 27 degrees + 28 minutes of Aries β™ˆοΈŽ falls into.

If you're using the whole sign house system, the degrees don't matter. If you've studied with me, this is what I use and have taught you. Just find Aries to see which house it's in.

If you're using the placidus house system, the degrees might matter, depending on where your house cusps fall in your natal chart.

🏠 Now find the house below to see which area of life, you may especially feel shame for acting impulsively or aggressively, from anger or without bravery.

πŸ‘€ Go through the journal prompts above, once more, to see if there's anything else you can add specific to this area of your life.

Once you've compiled your list, it's time to forgive. I recommend you use the ancient Hawaiian Ho'oponopono prayer.

Read each bit of shame you need to forgive, one at a time. After you read it, feel into the energy of it, take a deep breath in, exhale out releasing that energy, take a regular breath in and recite the Ho'oponopono prayer:

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Continue until you've read each bit you felt shame for, said the prayer and released it.

πŸ’ƒπŸ» When you're done, get up and move your body. Put on some fun music. Shake your arms and legs. Brush your hands over your entire body. Dance that shameful energy away.

πŸ₯³ And congratulate yourself for doing some hard and healing work. That was brave of you!

🏠 Here's the area of your life each of the houses in your chart represent. Find the one occupied by Aries β™ˆοΈŽ in your chart:
